An evening at Jacques

Jacques is a fun little French restaurant that I have been frequenting with friends for years. It was introduced to me one evening by my friend Buzz and ever since then it has been a place to meet up with local Soho artists, friends and bon vivants. Go on Tuesday evenings and meet my friend Sabina- she tends to the bar - say hi! Other evenings, the lovely Naomi from Australia is a vision in black and ash blonde.

Do Hwa

I love walking into sexy and unpretentious bars. Do Hwa, a neighbourhood Korean bar and restaurant in the West Village is one such example. Incredible to meet friends for a cinnamon- bourbon and ginger shot, a chilled Martini, a margarita on the rocks with salt and chilli pepper! Or even a glass of rose. And.... they usually have a Korean movie projecting on the wall near the bar.
